What our clients say
Trusted by small businesses
What’s included in a small business marketing package?
In short:
Digital marketing packages for small businesses bundle the core channels that actually bring in customers, a lead-ready website, search visibility, and paid traffic, under one team, one plan and one invoice, so you’re not hiring and managing five separate vendors. Our packages start at $3,000 paid in full for Startup, for businesses with no online presence, $7,997 one-time for Growth, for businesses that need their website rebuilt and ranking, and $1,500 a month for Scale, the ongoing campaign that compounds it. Those are starting prices, and the final number depends on the scope you actually need. Across the wider industry small business retainers typically run $1,500 to $4,000 a month.
That’s the short answer. The longer answer matters more, because “package” means wildly different things from one agency to the next, and the difference between a good package and an expensive one is almost never the price tag. It’s what’s inside it, who’s doing the work, and whether the channels are wired together or just billed together.
Here’s what a complete small business marketing package should cover:
- Website & landing pages: fast, modern, built to convert visitors into inquiries rather than just look good
- SEO & Local SEO: ranking for the searches your customers actually make, not vanity keywords
- Google Business Profile: optimized for the map pack and AI Overviews, where most local discovery now happens
- Paid ads (Google & Meta): profitable traffic, managed end to end, with spend accountable to leads
- Lead tracking & monthly reporting: so you can see which channel produced which customer
The last one is the one small businesses skip, and it’s the one that decides whether everything else was worth paying for. If you can’t trace a booked job back to the channel that produced it, you’re guessing, and you’ll usually cut the channel that was quietly working.
Notice what isn’t on that list. There’s no “social media management” line, because posting on a schedule is not a lead channel for most small businesses and shouldn’t be sold as one. There’s no vague “brand strategy” line either. Both can matter, but they belong in a package only once the channels that produce inquiries are already working, and a good agency will tell you that rather than billing for it in month one.
The other thing worth understanding is how these pieces compound. Your website is where every channel eventually sends people, so a slow or unconvincing site quietly taxes everything else you pay for. Local SEO and your Google Business Profile decide whether you appear at the moment someone searches with intent. Paid ads buy visibility immediately while the organic work matures. Run separately, each one underperforms. Run together, the paid data tells you which keywords deserve organic investment, and the organic rankings gradually lower what you need to spend to stay visible.
What digital marketing packages cost in 2026
Most agencies won’t put numbers on a page. We think that wastes your time and ours, so here are ours: the same figures that appear on our actual client agreements.
| Package | Investment | What’s included | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Startup | Starting at $3,000 paid in full 60-day engagement |
Professional website, foundational SEO, Google Business Profile creation and optimization, Facebook Business Page, plus business cards, a marketing flyer and a review-request flyer. Website delivered in 21 days or less | Businesses starting from nothing, no website, no listings, no online presence yet |
| Growth | Starting at $7,997 one-time or 3 × $2,665 90 to 120 day engagement |
Full SEO setup ($2,000) plus a rebuilt, search-structured website ($5,997): 12+ service pages and location pages, 6+ blog article pages, booking, quote and contact pages, a lead-generation system, CRM, AI social planner and AI voice receptionist, 3 months of reporting and consulting | Businesses with a website that isn’t ranking or isn’t converting |
| Scale | Starting at $1,500 per month $7,500 for 6 months paid in full, save $1,500 |
Ongoing Local SEO for your site and Google Business Profile, monthly keyword and competitor research, 4 blog articles a month, monthly link building, done-for-you social content, plus an hour of consulting. Google and Meta ad management is free while you’re under contract. You pay only the ad spend | Businesses with the foundation in place that want compounding rankings and call volume |
Most clients start with Startup or Growth to build the foundation, then move to Scale for the ongoing campaign. Scale has a 30-day cancellation notice and no long lock-in, six months is recommended because that’s how long compounding takes, not because you’re trapped.
Our 60-day guarantee:
If your business doesn’t see keyword ranking improvement within 60 days on a Scale campaign, you get your money back. Most of our clients see noticeable movement inside that window. We can’t guarantee a specific position, nobody honestly can, but we will guarantee that you move.
Two things worth knowing before you compare our numbers to anyone else’s.
Ad spend is separate, but our management isn’t billed. Most agencies charge 10 to 20% of your ad spend to manage campaigns, often with a monthly minimum on top. We don’t: Google and Meta ad management is included free while you’re on a Scale contract, and you pay only what reaches the platform. A suggested starting budget is around $40 a day. If another quote bundles “$2,000/month including ad spend,” ask how much actually reaches Google, sometimes it’s less than half.
Budget as a share of revenue is the sanity check. Small businesses generally allocate 3 to 5% of annual gross revenue to marketing, a rule of thumb the U.S. Small Business Administration echoes in its guidance on planning a marketing budget. For a business doing $1 million, that’s roughly $2,500 to $4,200 a month across everything, agency fees included. If a proposed package is wildly outside that band in either direction, something’s off.
Cheaper packages aren’t always worse value, but they are always narrower. A $1,200 plan that does Local SEO properly will beat a $3,500 plan that does five channels badly. The failure mode we see most often isn’t underspending, it’s spreading a small budget so thin that no single channel ever reaches the threshold where it starts working. If your budget is genuinely tight, the right move is to pick one channel and fund it properly for six months.
Why we publish these:
A landscaper booking jobs in three towns and a clinic filling appointment slots don’t need identical plans, and scope does move the number at the edges. But refusing to give you any figure until you’ve sat through three sales calls wastes your time. These are the real prices on our real agreements. If your situation needs something different, we’ll tell you on the first call, and we’ll tell you the number on that call too.
Our three packages explained
Startup and Growth build the foundation. Scale is the ongoing campaign that compounds it. Which one you need depends almost entirely on what you already have.
Startup, starting at $3,000
For businesses starting from nothing. No website, no Google listing, no online presence.
You get a professional website, foundational SEO, a Google Business Profile created and optimized, a Facebook Business Page, and the physical pieces most agencies forget, business cards, a marketing flyer and a review-request flyer.
A 60-day engagement, paid in full, starting at $3,000. Website delivered in 21 days or less. It’s the smallest investment that can still change your phone volume.
Growth, starting at $7,997
For businesses whose website isn’t working. It exists, but it doesn’t rank and it doesn’t convert.
A complete rebuild structured for search, 12+ service pages and location pages, 6+ blog article pages, booking, quote and contact pages, and a lead-generation system, plus a full SEO setup covering keyword analysis, meta tags, citations and site structure.
A 90 to 120 day engagement including 3 months of reporting, consulting, CRM, booking software, AI social planner and AI voice receptionist. New site delivered in 21 days or less.
Scale, starting at $1,500/mo
For businesses ready to compound. The foundation is in place; now it needs momentum.
Ongoing Local SEO across your website and Google Business Profile, monthly keyword and competitor research, four blog articles a month, monthly link building, done-for-you social content three times a week, and an hour of consulting.
Google and Meta ad management is included free while you’re under contract. You pay only the ad spend. Six months recommended, 30-day cancellation, $7,500 if paid in full.
How to choose the right package for your business
Most small businesses over-buy channels and under-buy execution. Four questions sort it out quickly.
- Can you handle more work tomorrow? If you’re already at capacity, a lead-generation package is the wrong purchase. Fix pricing or capacity first, more leads will just cost you money and reputation.
- How do your customers actually find you now? If 80% come from referrals, the fastest win is usually reputation and Google Business Profile, not a new ad account.
- How competitive is your market? A plumber in a mid-size suburb and a plumber in metro Boston face completely different costs to reach page one. Geography changes the number more than most owners expect.
- What’s your realistic time horizon? Paid ads can produce inquiries within days. SEO compounds over months. A package with no paid component and a 90-day expectation is a mismatch waiting to happen.
What actually changes the price
When two quotes for “the same package” differ by $2,000 a month, it’s almost always one of these:
- Market competitiveness: more competitors bidding on the same keywords means more content, more links and more ad budget to reach the same position
- Number of locations or service areas: each one needs its own local signals, its own page, and its own profile management
- How many services you sell: a business with fifteen services needs fifteen pages that each earn their ranking
- Starting position: a site with existing authority costs less to move than one starting from nothing
- Content volume: the single biggest variable cost, and the one most often quietly cut to hit a price point
- Who does the work: a strategist and a junior executing templates cost very different amounts and produce very different results
Red flags when comparing marketing packages
We’d rather you spend well somewhere else than badly with us. These are the things that reliably signal trouble.
- Guaranteed #1 positions. Nobody controls Google’s results, and Google’s own guidance names guaranteed rankings as a warning sign when choosing an SEO provider. A guarantee that you’ll improve is a fair commitment. A guarantee that you’ll hit a specific position is not.
- Long lock-in contracts. Twelve-month minimums usually protect the agency from its own results, not you from churn.
- Ad spend bundled into the fee. You should always know exactly what reaches the platform and what pays the agency.
- Reporting that only shows impressions and rankings. Impressions aren’t customers. Ask to see how leads are tracked before you sign.
- No access to your own accounts. Your website, Google Ads, Analytics and Google Business Profile should be in your name. If leaving means losing them, that’s deliberate.
- A package that never changes. If month nine looks identical to month one, nobody’s reading the data.

Packages by industry
The channel mix that wins is not the same across industries, and a package that ignores that is just a template with your logo on it.
Trades and home services: landscapers, plumbers, electricians, roofers, HVAC. Local SEO and Google Business Profile do the heavy lifting because the map pack is where these searches resolve. Paid ads fill seasonal gaps. See our work in local SEO for contractors and landscaper marketing.
Professional practices: dental, chiropractic, legal, med spa. Reputation and review volume influence conversion as much as ranking does, and paid search is expensive enough that landing-page quality decides profitability. See local SEO for dental practices.
Service businesses covering multiple towns: cleaning companies, pest control, pressure washing. These need genuine location coverage rather than one page with town names stuffed into it. See local SEO for cleaning companies and our service areas.

Frequently asked questions
How much do digital marketing packages for small businesses cost?
Ours are published above: Startup starts at $3,000 paid in full over a 60-day engagement, Growth starts at $7,997 one-time, and Scale starts at $1,500 a month with a six-month campaign recommended. Scope varies between businesses, so we confirm your exact figure on the discovery call. Across the wider industry, small business retainers typically run $1,500 to $4,000 a month, so Scale sits at the accessible end of the normal range. Ad spend is separate, though we don’t charge a management fee on it while you’re under contract.
What’s the difference between the packages?
Startup (starting at $3,000, a 60-day engagement) is for businesses with no online presence at all. It builds the website, the Google Business Profile and the basics from scratch. Growth (starting at $7,997, a 90 to 120 day engagement) is for businesses that already have a website which isn’t ranking or converting, and rebuilds it properly with a full SEO setup. Scale (starting at $1,500/month) is the ongoing campaign that runs after either foundation is in place. Most clients do one of the first two, then move to Scale.
Is there a long-term contract?
No lock-in games. We earn the relationship month to month. You keep ownership of your website, ad accounts, analytics and Google Business Profile throughout.
Do you work with my industry?
Very likely. We run proven playbooks for trades, local services and professional practices, and we publish the specifics for each on our industries page rather than claiming to serve everyone equally well.
How fast will I see results?
Paid ads can drive inquiries within days of launch. Local SEO typically shows movement in 60 to 90 days. Competitive organic rankings compound over six months and beyond. We set milestones on the call so you know what to expect and when.
Is ad spend included in the monthly fee?
No, ad spend is always separate and goes straight to Google or Meta. But unlike most agencies, we don’t charge a management fee on top of it while you’re on a Scale contract. Campaign creation, ad copy, creative, landing pages and ongoing management are included. A suggested starting budget is about $40 a day.
What if I only need one service?
That’s fine and often the right call. Packages exist because the channels reinforce each other, not because you’re obliged to buy all of them. If Local SEO alone is what moves your business this year, we’ll tell you that.
Do I own everything if we stop working together?
Yes. Your website, domain, ad accounts, analytics and Google Business Profile are in your name from day one. If you leave, you leave with all of it.
